About Peter Way

Peter Way is co-founder and Managing Director of Institutional Insights, a research firm that publishes unique information and recommendations for Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Peter developed the unconventional approach that serves as the basis for the analysis and recommendations nearly thirty years ago targeting individual stocks. The theory and data models have evolved over time and have been applied to ETFs since their inception. Peter brings a truly unique perspective to the world of investing, the community of professional traders and institutional investors, and the dynamics that drive equity pricing and market behavior.

Peter’s career and insight into universe of publically traded securities began with Lionel D. Edie and eleven years at Citibank (both in in New York). His educational background includes an Economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Peter is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and has served on the editorial boards of CFA Digest and the Financial Analyst Journal. He also has written numerous articles for various publications, including Forbes magazine and Forbes.com, and has been a frequent lecturer on the stock market.
