Institutional Insights provides its odds & payoffs information in a screening tool labeled Daily Insights. It allows you look at our unique and relevant data sorted by your choice of either the best- or worst-ranked for any of the nine columns of the tool, displaying sixteen ETFs per page.
The only column that may need a bit of explanation is the Rank. It is a percentile measurement of where the ETF ranks among our universe of over 2,000 stocks, ETFs, ADRs, and indexes.
The rank number indicates the proportion of the population that this issue outranks on a standardized and proprietary risk ~ return tradeoff measure. Higher rank numbers are indicative of better return prospects net of risk.
The other principal tool is Allocation Insights. This is a table of eight categories of investments into which a portfolio's investments might be allocated. The top row of the table indicates each category's average of the combined odds & payoffs probable return being currently forecast for all the ETFs in the category.
The remaining rows in the table list the specific ETFs with the best combined odds & payoffs in the category. While the categories will have differing O&P attractiveness on average, individual ETFs may differ markedly from their category's averages.
Hovering a mouse cursor above any ETF ticker symbol reveals its expected combined odds and payoffs and closeout target price. Clicking on the symbol takes you automatically to its more detailed data in the Daily Insights table.
