Peter Way
Peter is founder and Chief Investment Officer of Peter Way Associates, LLC, a publisher of unconventional securities information and an equity investment manager for pension funds and other institutions. He founded PWA in 1974, leaving Citibank in New York City after 11 years, as a Vice President of the Trust Investment Division. There he managed both the Decision Support Group of quantitative analysts and other conventional-valuation researchers. Previously Peter trained as a security analyst with the investment counsel firm of Lionel D. Edie in New York City for six years.
Peter is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a past member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and past president of the New York Society of Junior Security Analysts. He also is an active member of the CFA Society of San Diego, California, serving as its President from 1993-1994. He has served on the editorial boards of the Financial Analysts Journal and the CFA Digest.
He currently writes a series of investment letters for Forbes.com drawing on his unique expectations research. He also serves on the investment policy committees of local non-profit organizations. Peter earned his B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and his M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Business School.
Rob Donnelly
Over the last ten years, Rob has served as investor, senior executive and entrepreneur across a broad range of industries, stages and types of businesses. As Managing General Partner of Guardian Ventures, Rob leads the firm's portfolio management, trading operations and principal investments (including both private equity and hedge funds).
Previously, Rob was a founding Principal at Genesis Park, a Houston-based venture capital and private equity firm. Rob maintained a number of roles including serving on the firm's Investment Committee and leading several investments in the information technology and life sciences sectors. His background also includes engineering and product development in the medical device industry, an equity analyst position in the medical technology sector and investment banking through an east coast private equity firm. Rob obtained a B.S. in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Stuart Way
Stuart has been architecting, developing and managing transactional platforms and trading systems for the financial services sector for over twenty years. Based in New York, he maintained senior technologist roles at numerous firms, leading design and implementation efforts for successive generations of portfolio management and trading applications.
Prior engagements include: Risk management and performance reporting tools for UBS Private Wealth, Portfolio Management Group; Mid- and back-office recording and reporting applications for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, International Equity Sales and Trading; and foreign currency / fixed income portfolio management systems for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (acted as project lead during Euro conversion).
